Don Sergio Carettoni is a priest educated at Pontificio Seminario Regionale Marchigiano of Fano and ordained the 4th of June 1994 by Bishop Mario Cecchini. He performed his studies of Health Pastoral Licence at Camillianum and his Phd at Teresianum in Rome.
From 1993 to 1998, he held different tasks in the Diocese of Fano, especially in the field of healthcare and medicine as Director of the Diocesan Office of Health Pastoral, ecclesiastic expert of Diocesan Association of Italian Catholic Doctors and spiritual assistant of Avulss (Association for Volunteering in Local Unities of Social and Health Services) of Fano.
He had been livingin Switzerland since April 1999 as a missionary ad interim of Italian Catholic Mission firstly in Schaffhausen, then, since July 1999, in OltenScönenwerd. He dedicated himself to form and support Italian emigrants in Switzerland for ten years.
He has been teaching a course of Philosophic Anthropology in University of Basilea (Italian Uni3) since 2006.
He has been pastor of Sant’Apollinare in Lucrezia since the 1st of January 2010.
