THE SCHOOL OF PASTORAL MANAGEMENT CELEBRATES JUBILEE OF MERCY

The passage of the Holy Door , the lectio magistralis of prof. van de Voort and the visit of the television troupé of France2 : a common intense moment for students of the two editions on both the spiritual and educational level

Tuesday, December 15 the students of both active two editions of the School of Pastoral management came together to live an intense common experience.

It started a few days the special Jubilee of Mercy and open only two days before the Holy Door of the Basilica of St. John Lateran , the students and their teachers and tutors, accompanied by the rector of the University Mons . Dal Covolo, have experienced the joy the merciful embrace of the Father through an experience of celebration that saw the group from the lobby of the faculty , in procession , to the Holy Door of the Basilica .

In front of the basilica Msgr . Dal Covolo introduced to the spiritual value of the gesture that was going to take to cross the Holy Door .

Inside the Basilica the procession continued in a climate of meditation and prayer. Following, the dr. Laura Bolondi helped the present to reflect on the historical and artistic aspects related to the Holy Door, addressing specific elements of the Lateran Basilica, and going outside showed the group the frescoes in the Loggia of Blessings.

The spiritual experience is so well integrated with the learning experience, reading gestures, places and symbols of tradition, looking for profound messages that can inspire our pastoral action, giving vital continuity (and no repeat) to the dynamism of the Church.

Back at the University, the group attended a short time organized by the campus ministry, featuring Christmas carols according to the different cultural backgrounds of the students.

Finally all we went to the classroom Pius XI to a lectio magisralis prof. Roel C. W. van der Voort, the International School for Entrepreneurship
and professor at the Business School Entrepreneurship and Innovation at the University of Amsterdam. (See review of the lesson).

Our common moment concluded with another short event that involved not only the students but the whole school, as the prestigious French television France 2 (France 2 is the most important French public broadcaster, part of the France Télévisions group) is coming to interview faculty and students to make a report on the School of Management Ministry as an example of innovation and pastoral creativity.
